Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

• Be at least 18 years of age (or 13 with parental consent where applicable).
• Have a valid Facebook and/or Instagram Business account in good standing with Meta.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete account information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your PostEngine account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

2. User Responsibilities

• All content you create, schedule, and publish through PostEngine.
• Ensuring your content complies with Meta's Community Standards and Facebook Page Policies.
• Obtaining all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any content you publish.
• Ensuring you have authority to manage the connected Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts.
• Complying with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use PostEngine to:

• Publish spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or misleading content.
• Violate any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Spread misinformation, hate speech, or harassing or discriminatory content.
• Publish illegal, obscene, defamatory, or sexually explicit content.
• Attempt unauthorized access to other user accounts or PostEngine systems.
• Reverse-engineer or extract the source code of our platform.
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures of PostEngine or Meta's API.

4. Meta API Usage & Compliance

• Your use is subject to Meta's Platform Terms .
• Features may be temporarily restricted if Meta imposes new API limitations.
• Meta may revoke our API access; PostEngine is not liable for disruptions caused by Meta's decisions.
• If your Meta account is suspended, our ability to publish on your behalf will be affected.

5. Service Availability & Platform Limitations

• PostEngine may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unexpected outages.
• Scheduled posts may fail due to API errors, expired tokens, Meta outages, or network issues.
• We are not responsible for missed deadlines or lost revenue caused by publishing delays.
• API rate limits set by Meta may temporarily delay posts during peak usage.

6. Content Responsibility

PostEngine is a publishing tool — we do not review, moderate, or endorse the content you publish. You retain full ownership of and responsibility for your content. You grant PostEngine a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to deliver the Service. If PostEngine receives a valid complaint or legal notice, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and cooperate with law enforcement as required.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
• All fees are non-refundable unless required by law or stated in our Refund Policy.
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
• We may change pricing with 30 days advance notice to current subscribers.
• Failure to pay may result in account downgrade or suspension.

8. Account Termination

• By You: Cancel anytime in account settings. Cancellation takes effect at end of billing period.
• By Us: We may suspend or terminate immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or if required by law.
• Upon termination, your right to use PostEngine ceases immediately. Data deleted within 30 days.
• Scheduled posts will not be published after account termination.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POSTENGINE'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and/or by posting a notice within the platform. Your continued use of PostEngine after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
